That whole series is totally unbelievable. There's no way anything in that would ever happen in real life.

He wasn't a jerk until the "author" decided to make him one out of nowhere.

There was no foreshadowing. There was no motivation. It made no sense to suddenly make him into the bad guy!

That's why he's such a GOOD bad guy though! First of all it's scary to have someone you trust that much turn on you and it's worse when you don't see it coming! But then when you reread it there's all these little red flags that are like nothing the first time but when you know it's coming you really appreciate what a dick he is!

Sorry, but it's weird how into him you all are. He always starts out creepier than the "antagonists" anyway.
